Ear Candling

Also known as Thermal-Auricular Therapy

Ear Candling natural therapy involves inserting and lighted hollow candle (made primarily from bees wax, linen, honey and herbs) into each ear.

A 'chimney' effect is created bringing harmony and balance to the ear, nose and throat as pressure is relieved and impurities are broken down and flushed through the lymphatic system.

When the candles have extinguished naturally, your outer ear is gently massaged. Each session lasts approximately 40 mins and you remain fully clothed throughout.

We only ever use BIOSUN candles to ensure safely and consitent quality.

Good for treating:

  • headaches
  • migraines
  • tinnitus
  • vertigo
  • blocked ears,
  • sinuses
  • hay fever
  • sleeping disorders
  • stress
  • persistent colds
  • throat infections
  • asthma

Why would I not be able to have a Hopi ear candling treatment?

Are there any times when a treatment would not be suitable:

  • Ear infection or inflamnation
  • Surgery on the ear within the last 3 months
  • Perforated ear drum / Lack of ear drum
  • Auricular cysts
  • Grommets, drains or ventilation tubes fitted
  • Known allergy to candle wax

Even if one of the above conditions means you cannot have an Ear Candle treatment, there will be other alternative for you - call Cath 0794 1012305 to chat further.
