Useful information
Full Consultation
Before your first treatment takes place a full consultation is carried out to ensure you get the appropriate therapy for you and to check that it is safe for you to have the therapy. We also offer FREE Wellness Plans that take a holistic view of your health needs and aftercare information.
Your Treatment Records
Notes will be taken and signed by the therapist after each session to ensure an up to date record of the client's health and wellness is available. This ensures the therapy is beneficial to you and that progress is being made.
Treatment Positions
Depending on the type of therapy you choose you will either remain fully clothed or will need to remove some items of clothing. Below gives an indication:
- Pilates/iMove Freely – Fully Clothed
- Energy Healing – Fully clothed
- Ear Candling – Fully clothed
- Massage – just the upper body (please wear something that is loose and comfortable)
- Indian Head Massage – Possibly upper body (if oils are required)
- Baby Massage - as much or as little as you like (for baby)
- Reflexology – feet and lower legs
Rest assure however, that regardless of the treatment you chose your modesty and dignity will be maintained throughout your treatment.
Also depending on the treatment chosen you often have a choice of positions – lying on a couch (fully supported), recliner chair, upright chair and also head cradle. Whichever you choose you will be made very comfortable.
Hours
We have various therapy hours to suit your busy lifestyle. We offer mornings, afternoons, early evenings and Saturday appointments for your convenience.
Concessions
If you are a current member of S.M.I.L.E or Preston Breathe Easy you automatically qualify for a concession. Please call for details. If you are not involved with either group and need a concession please discuss this with me before you come for your treatment consultation. I will do my best to offer an affordable treatment!
Special Offers
If there are a few treatments you would like to try, why not ‘mix and match’ to suit your needs. This could be the start of your Wellness Plan. For each course of 6 assorted treatments deduct 10% from the cost of the course. The treatments do not have to be of the same kind, i.e. chose from Reiki, a back, neck and shoulder massage and ear candling. It is totally flexible to fit in with your needs and goals. Treatments need not be taken weekly, but all treatments need to be taken within 16 weeks of the first session.
Please Note
That you must give 48 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment. A 50% fee will be charged for missed appointments that have not been canceled in advance.
